Sail Free was founded by myself, Andy Robbins, and my good friend, Red Freeman, with the goal of creating a sailing company that focused on great value and excellent customer experience. We came out all the way to picturesque Zihuatanejo to escape the confines of urban life and the prison-like rigidity of modern living. Out here, we are free to enjoy the open sea and a quieter way of life. As the Mexican’s say, “the sea has no memory”.
Shortly after we landed here, we setup a small second hand boating shop which has now thrived into a successful business selling many different sizes of boat and yachts, and offering unique rental adventures that cater for all kinds of travellers.
We pride ourselves on the customer experience and take great care to make sure you feel happy with your choice. Although we are a relatively small team, we feel this brings us closer to each customer, where we can give our expert advice. Over our 20 year history, we have established a trusted name throughout Mexico and the US, and our commitment to excellence has reflected in our overwhelmingly positive feedback.
